Moving Your Body Is Good For You

I just got back from a walk and I feel so much better than I did being seated behind my desk while working. 💫🌿 Whether you have a lot of free time or have a busy schedule- movement is essential for your physical, mental, and emotional health.

The importance of movement and flow

Movement and flow are key to vitality. We don’t want to exercise for long hours once a week only. This creates an impossible routine of high output and intense burnout. We want to be like a fresh flowing river; not a stagnant swamp. Vitality allows us to create a continuous flow of fitness. 🌊⁣

Health benefits of movement

Just 20 minutes of movement and exercise per day can improve your life vastly. If you can’t get to a gym, a 20-minute walk in nature is a source of exercise too. It will benefit you as it:⁣

  • Increases your energy⁣
  • Reduces stress hormones⁣
  • Releases feel-good hormones like dopamine and serotonin
  • Improves your sleep by producing sleep hormones called melatonin⁣
  • Improves memory by stimulating a brain protein responsible for learning⁣

With most people working remotely these days, we spend hours seated. I would highly recommend that for 1 hour of work, reward yourself with 1 minute of movement. This allows you to get your blood flowing. It transports nutrients and oxygen to the cells while removing toxins from them.⁣

What to do if your movement is restricted

Movement is key to better health. If you are unable to exercise at all due to personal reasons or injury, then I still have a solution for you- BEMER therapy! It is a medical tech that stimulates your body’s organs and improves your health, energy and any discomfort from chronic conditions. ⁣
