I Love Nature Walks! Here’s Why

I’m not sure who loves nature walks more, me or Coco? 😂😊🐶⁣⁣

The importance of nature walks

It’s easy to come home from a long day of work and answer the yearning call from your couch. Suddenly, any physical activity seems too demanding. 🙈⁣⁣

However, spending time in nature isn’t just a nice thing to do occasionally, it’s actually 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 important for your health. ⁣⁣

Nature walks increase your microbial diversity. Being surrounded by different types of bacteria in nature gives you a NATURAL increase in your microbiome diversity. Simply put, this balance allows your microbiomes to support your well-being and your gut health. 💫⁣⁣

Stay active even in the cold

We take walks often. Even during winter, I dress warm and get out there! ⛄ There’s a common myth that the cold will make you sick. However, did you know, that being stuck indoors and inhaling old unrecycled air will make you even more ill?⁣⁣

Being in nature, both in warm and cold seasons provides your body with much-needed fresh air AND movement. Both of these are essential for your health, your energy, and your relaxation. 🌿⁣⁣
